Born and raised in New York City, I’ve spent the past decade honing my skills as a commercial film editor while working in China. My time in Shanghai gave me a deep understanding of the industry and a unique perspective on navigating diverse creative environments. Fluency in Mandarin and experience across different cultures have made me adaptable, efficient, and clear in my communication.
My journey began with first with my hobby in street photography and developing film as a teenager, which later evolved into working as a photographer’s first assistant in a production house. Later as in-house Production staff at a Shanghai based agency, and now, as a free lance commercial offline editor, I’ve worked with brands like Hennessy, Haagen-Dazs, The North Face, Gucci, Abercrombie & Fitch, Dom Perignon, and Tommy Hilfiger, and with agencies such as Fred & Farid, AKQA, RGA, and Ores.
I primarily work in Premiere and am comfortable in supplemental tasks in After Effects and DaVinci Resolve and Pomfort Silverstack. I enjoy helping clients bring their creative vision to life, whether through hands-on creative input or optimizing workflows for efficiency. My experience in China taught me the value of hard work, patience, and adaptability—skills I bring to every project.
